Mason County District Library as part of its continuing efforts to serve the needs of the community announced the addition of the new online investing research tool, The Morningstar Investment Research Center to its online reference resources.

Morningstar Investment Research Center gives Mason County District Library patrons another valuable investing resource.  The service is from Morningstar, Inc., Chicago, with the reputation as the independent resource for information on stocks and mutual funds.  Mason County District Library patrons interested in stocks and funds will have access to valuable Morningstar’s premium information.  This includes Morningstar analysts’ independent opinion on 1,700 stocks and 2,200 mutual funds.

Morningstar Investment Research Center also offers accurate, up-to-date data on 35,000 stocks, funds and exchange traded funds.  And it lets users build and test portfolio ideas online and even print their results for later reference.

The Morningstar Investment Resource Center joins other online information resources offered through MCDLibrary.org including  Gale Free Legal Forms, Small Business Resource Center, Ancestry.com, WorldBook Online,  Alexander Street Streaming Music, Overdrive eBooks and downloadable audiobooks and much more.
